Treatment options
Navigating access to behavioral health services like substance use disorder (addiction) treatment for yourself or a loved one can be overwhelming and scary — please let us help you.
First, please understand that there are many types of drug and alcohol treatment services available — drug and alcohol treatment is not a one size fits all approach.
The first step to getting help is calling a licensed drug and alcohol facility for an assessment by a trained drug and alcohol counselor. The assessment will gather information from the individual accessing treatment to create a tailored treatment plan — remember, treatment is not one size fits all!
find your nearest assessment provider
If you have health insurance, call the number of the back of your insurance card and ask to be directed to substance use services. Just like if you were looking for a new primary care physician or physical therapist, your insurance carrier will direct you to a provider.
If you do NOT have health insurance, call one of the agencies listed below. Funding assistance is available from the Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services. We typically say call the provider closest to you out of convenience, but all that truly matters is that you call!
